Front of House Associate

Part Time 8-32 hours weekly

The Position: We’re looking for Part Time Front of House Associates to join our  team and to help bring the As Above, So Below distillery and cocktail experience to life. Front of House Associates will provide cocktail service, interact with guests through tours, bottle and merchandise sales and communicate our brand story during tours and events. 

Responsibilities:

  • Greet Guests 
  • Provide quality cocktail service, including table and bar-top service
  • Assist guests with purchases from our merchandise and bottle shop
  • Create a consistent, high caliber brand experience
  • Conduct Distillery tours (training provided)
  • Provide accurate information about distillery processes and products
  • Represent the As Above, So Below Distillery Brand
  • Assist guests over the phone
  • Supports Distillery needs at special events, which may be off-site
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for all guests and team members, following a pre-determined list of side work tasks
  • Abide by all state liquor regulations 

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Adheres to high business standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. 
  • Ability to work in a team environment focusing on continuous improvement opportunities
  • Overtime may be required, holiday work, and weekends. 
  • 2+ years of service industry experience preferred
  • Must be 21+
  • Must be willing to maintain an active NM server’s license and food handlers card  (AASB Distillery will provide certification and renewal as needed)
  • Knowledge of POS systems a plus
  • Must be willing to cross-train for cocktail service, events, tours and retail store
  • Front of House Associates should have the ability to stand and be mobile for long periods of time and crouch for supplies. Employees will have to occasionally lift cases of spirits nearing 50 lbs. The Tasting Room work environment may be a loud and busy.

Packaging Line Operator

Part Time 8-16 hours weekly

As Above, So Below Distillery’s Packaging Line Operator is member of As Above, So Below Distillery’s packaging team and reports to the Master Distiller. The Packaging Line Operators are responsible for the safe and efficientoperation of As Above, So Below Distillery’s packaging equipment, as well as the cleanliness and organization of theareas of the production floor that packaging occupies. Successful Packaging Line Operators work with a team to transfer finished spirits from tanks into bottles, successfully apply corks or closures, labels, and tamper seals then place into boxes on pallets. Packaging Line Operators must work to established Quality Assurance standards. 

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the operation of As Above, So Below Distillery’s packaging equipment.
  • Operate assigned packaging station to ensure packaging step is completed to Quality Standards. 
  • Follow As Above, So Below Distillery’s standard operating procedures (SOPs) and As Above, So Below Distillery’s quality program, including running QC processes, when assigned.
  • Prepare for next day packaging operations, including the loading and staging of required packaging materials and assisting in the preparation of product labels and packaging logs.
  • Clean and organize packaging areas.
  • Maintain a clean and orderly work area, returning tools, equipment, and supplies to the appropriate storage areas after each assignment.
  • Assist with the deep cleaning and maintenance of As Above, So Below Distillery’s packaging equipment.
  • Learn new jobs / roles through As Above, So Below Distillery’s Packaging Team Training Program.
  • Adhere to and advance As Above, So Below Distillery’ score values, company policies and safety culture.

Requirements:

  • Must be 21 years of age or older at the time of application.
  • Self-motivated and able to work independently.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Thorough attention to detail.
  • The ability to read and interpret manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams.
  • The ability to work flexible hours.
  • Courteous, professional and polished demeanor.

  • Able to maneuver packages of any weight above 180 pounds with appropriate equipment and/or assistance.
  • Able to work in a factory/production environment which may be loud, slick, humid, cold, and hot.
  • Able to work in indoor and outdoor environments with moderate noise and occasionally slippery floors.
  • Able to comply with and enforce all health, safety, and personal hygiene policies and standards.
